George Cunningham visits Israel to talk about China
At the invitation of Sino-Israeli think tank SIGNAL, George Cunningham visited Israel as part of a team consisting of former Assistant Secretary of State David Schenker, former Deputy Administrator USAID Bonnie Gluck and Canadian Middle East academic Dr Jonathan Fulton to talk about Israel creating a strategy on China.
At the end of his trip, George spoke on "A China Policy for Israel - What Would It Take?" to around 700 participants at Signal's conference on "US-China Competition Meets the Middle East".
The visit generated great interest, coinciding with President Xi's visit to Saudi Arabia the same week.
