A reminder that on Sunday 7th November at 1pm UK time, Liberal Democrats Overseas will be hosting our Annual General Meeting online via Zoom.
This meeting is your chance to hear about some of our activity during the last year and have your say on how our local party is being run.
If you would like to attend our AGM please email our Data Officer Caroline Padbury with your membership number, she will then share details of how to access the session.
RSVP: email [email protected]
You can find the agenda for the meeting on our website: AGM Agenda
We are also opening nominations for key posts that run our local party
As we are involved in many initiatives, we would expect each member of the executive to play an active role, and we’d especially encourage you to apply if you’re from a group that is underrepresented in our party.
You can see all of the roles that are open and download / complete the nomination form here.
To put yourself forward for one of these positions, all you have to do is complete the nomination form and return to Carl Hey (who is a member of Lib Dems acting as an independent officer for nominations for our 2022 executive) before the 'Executive Nomination' section of the AGM on the 7th November.
- Submit your completed nomination form to [email protected]
- If you are new to the executive, you should also submit a 150-word summary of your background and experience for the role. View examples of these summaries
- To be on the executive, you must be a British citizen holding a British passport.
- You must be a current member of the Liberal Democrats, with an active membership number to be on the executive committee. If you have any questions about your membership contact our data officer [email protected]
